In 2016, the Ballot Bin was introduced, the first-ever voting ashtray posing significant life questions. Starting with a single bin in London asking smokers to choose between Ronaldo or Messi, it has now expanded to nearly 5,000 bins across 42 countries.
Part of the #PickYourSide initiative, these Ballot Bins are inspired by behaviour change principles and proven to reduce cigarette litter by 46%.

In Sweden, a clever initiative called the ‘Speed Camera Lottery’ encourages drivers to stay under the speed limit. Those who comply are entered into a lottery where the prize pool comes from the fines collected from speeders. This innovative approach resulted in a 22% reduction in speed during its trial phase.
